Make a Ladybug Bed

Ladybugs are a gardener’s best friends.  These cute little beetles — and their ugly larvae — are voracious predators of aphids and other pests. Ladybugs hibernate through the winter in protected spots.  You can encourage them to live in your garden by giving them plenty of shelter.
