News: Tensions High as EPA Reasserts Mining Authority

The following article reveals a fresh twist in the saga of mountaintop removal.  Although the EPA has indicated interest in reviewing permits to discern whether company proposals adequately protect the environment, the Army Corps of Engineers has approved permits without consulting the EPA.
