In poor neighborhoods, people often have minimal access to wholesome foods. Less wholesome foods, such as fast food, are more available; that contributes to many health problems. Wal-Mart proposes to address this issue by opening stores in poor neighborhoods. But the residents are not always receptive to that, due to the company’s anti-union policies and other objectionable behavior.
